How to Check Your Lottery Numbers
Checking your lottery numbers is simple with our free lottery number checker. The tool validates your entries against the correct ranges for each game so you can confirm you've entered them correctly.
For Powerball, your five main numbers must be between 1 and 69, and the red Powerball must be between 1 and 26. For Mega Millions, your five main numbers must be between 1 and 70, and the gold Mega Ball must be between 1 and 25.
When Are Lottery Results Available?
Powerball drawings take place every Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday at 10:59 PM Eastern Time. Mega Millions drawings take place every Tuesday and Friday at 11:00 PM Eastern Time. What Happens If You Win?
If your numbers match, congratulations! Prizes under $600 can typically be claimed at any authorized lottery retailer. Prizes of $600 or more must be claimed at your state lottery office. Jackpot winners have the choice of a lump-sum cash payment (approximately 50–60% of the advertised jackpot) or an annuity spread over 29 years.
